THE CRAFT BEER THAT DOESN’T TAKE ITSELF TOO SERIOUSLY

A pale ale lightly hopped with a blend of English and US hops give a refreshing
spicy, citrus palate, wonderfully balanced with a subtle malt character from
the finest English ale malt.

Kelham Island Brewery is renowned for its pale ales and bitters, but KIB One is something else. The brewery has produced a hybrid beer – not quite a lager, not quite an ale. It’s paler in colour and yet packs a punchy hop flavour, complimented by its delicate fizz.

Kelham Island Brewery is renowned for its pale ales and bitters, but KIB One is something else. The brewery has produced a hybrid beer – not quite a lager, not quite an ale. It’s paler in colour and yet packs a punchy hop flavour, complimented by its delicate fizz.

KIB One was inspired by continental beers – akin to a French or Belgian
mix. Whilst the brewery has always stuck to more traditional methods and
flavours in their core line, they never fail to surprise with the plethora of
exciting combinations in their monthly specials. The demand for the specials
are always incredibly high – selling out within days across Sheffield’s most
renowned Real Ale Pubs. KIB One, therefore, was introduced to freshen
up the core range of beers. It boasts the flavour profile of a pale ale with
its spicy citrus palate and yet, it’s a lighter and crisp alternative readily
available on tap.

Served ice cold, the lightly hopped keg beer is beautifully refreshing, but
not just in taste. KIB One is allowing the brewers to branch out to the
craft-shy, and show people that Craft Beer is for every taste.
